At the end of 2014, a friend and I worked together on a competition based in Toronto that would see the winners’ projects get built.  Together we came up with a structure that mimicked a simple fire, to represent warmth and shelter on the beaches along Lake Ontario.  Though sadly we didn’t win and we didn’t fully agree with the winning designs, there were quite a few interesting submissions. However, the process and workflow introduced new techniques that I continue to use and will expand upon in future projects and competitions.
