Washroom

Starting in January of 2014, I began what was supposed to be a short exercise turned into a full project including learning new modeling and lighting techniques.  I was inspired by an article featuring a modern loft in Toronto and desiced to take it to 3ds Max right away.  I also started purchasing 3D models from sites such as CGAxis, Viz-People, and Evermotion, and using the models included in my work.  Many of the objects you see are real-world products – such as the rainfall shower head, sink and bath faucets, toilet, etc – and most of the models were done by me.  I also lit, rendered, and did all the post-production with Mental Ray and Photoshop CS5.5.  You can take a look at my post on Evermotion if you’d like as well.

I used 3ds Max Design 2013, mental ray, and Photoshop for post-production.  I also used the Floor Generator by CG-Source to model the floor and all the wall tiles.
